An interview with Builder John jones
John and Lisa Jones have a long history of building homes in the Columbia, MO community. Lisa has lived in Columbia since 1992, and John has been there since 1985. They believe Columbia is a great place to live because it strikes a perfect balance. It's not too big or too small, and it offers all the conveniences one would need. Plus, it is an ideal place to make a living and raise a family.
John started his career in the construction industry in the 1980's with a travel company. In 1994, Pate Jones Construction was established and so many homes have been built, he has lost count! John is now on his own as of 2022.
John is excited to work with Vintage Cooperatives as he thinks the Estates of Columbia project will greatly benefit the community, he has helped build over the years. Having a clubhouse, pool, and pickleball will enhance the lifestyle of the residents, while the gated entrance will provide privacy and exclusivity. The Estates have different floor plans to choose from that are thoughtfully designed and offer great functionality, especially for aging in place. The interior features are clean and simple lines, providing a modern and appealing aesthetic. The location of the Estates of Columbia is highly desirable, particularly because it is situated in the southwest area. Being close to South Hampton, Grindstone, and other amenities is advantageous. It offers a quiet suburban environment while still being conveniently located.
