Owning and operating a farm for over 150 years within the same family is no small feat. It's a testament to their dedication, resilience, and love for the land. The Heritage Farm Program, established by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship in partnership with the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, recognizes such remarkable families who've owned at least 40 acres for 150 years or more.
